Industrial Vacuums with Longopac® Continuous Bagging Systems

The Preparation Group’s Industrial Vacuum range, equipped with Longopac® continuous bagging systems, is a transformative innovation in dust control for the flooring industry. Launched in 2024, it was developed to address two pressing challenges: protecting installers from hazardous dust exposure and improving efficiency on every site.

With the HSE enforcing “no dry sweeping” guidance, contractors needed a practical, reliable solution that captured dust at source, maintained compliance, and allowed work to proceed safely and efficiently. Traditional vacuums and manual sweeping methods are often ineffective, releasing dust into the air, clogging filters, and consuming hours of labour. The Longopac® system solves this through a unique sealed continuous liner that safely contains fibres and dust, allowing dust-free disposal. Built-in filter cleaning prolongs performance, and optional HEPA filters capture even the finest hazardous particles. Compact models like the PPC 202DSLP combine mobility and power, fitting easily into residential vans while handling industrial-scale workloads.
