What Is Covered?

The Preparation Group guarantees the repair or replacement (at our discretion) of your machine if it proves to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within the warranty period.

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.

What Is Not Covered?

Our equipment is built using high-quality materials and components. If used correctly, it should operate reliably within the warranty period. However, certain situations are not covered under this warranty, including but not limited to:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. seals, batteries, capacitors, switches, belts, levers, hoses, connectors, filters, etc.)
  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse or incorrect operation
  • Failure to carry out daily checks and recommended maintenance
  • Using the equipment for tasks it was not designed for
  • External factors beyond our control, such as:
    • Power surges or electrical supply issues
    • Transport or transit damage
    • Adverse weather conditions
    • Improper storage
  • Negligence or operation by unqualified personnel
  • Use of the equipment outside the guidance provided in The Preparation Group’s manuals and technical documents
  • Non-genuine or third-party parts, or modifications not approved or installed according to The Preparation Group’s instructions
  • Servicing or maintenance not carried out by The Preparation Group
  • Alterations or repairs by third parties

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  • Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase (or date of delivery, if later).
  • Proof of purchase and delivery must be provided before any warranty service is performed. Without this, repair work may be chargeable.
  • Warranty repairs must be carried out by The Preparation Group.
  • Repairs or replacements under warranty do not extend the original warranty period.
  • This warranty is subject to the conditions outlined in The Preparation Group’s technical documentation and user manuals.
  • Use of non-genuine parts or unauthorised service providers will void the warranty.
  • The warranty will be voided by unauthorised repairs or modifications by third parties.

Where Is the Warranty Valid?

This warranty is valid only in the country where the equipment was originally sold and must be operated by appropriately qualified professionals according to recognised industry standards.

Important: If the equipment is transported to another country after purchase, the warranty may be invalidated. We will, however, do our best to assist you—please contact us at sales@ppcgroup.co.uk.
